Christmas Hymns for the Reluctant Organist

Brigitte Harris (Organist at St Andrew’s & St George’s West) and Andrew Carvel (Organ Scholar at St Andrew’s & St George’s West) have produced a a hymn booklet with favourite Christmas Hymns designed for the reluctant organist. They have arranged the hymns to fit well under the hands.

Hymns include:

  • Angel voices, richly blending
  • As with gladness men of old
  • Away in a manger
  • Child in the manger
  • Hark the herald angels sing
  • It came upon the midnight clear
  • Joy to the world
  • Love came down at Christmas
  • O come, all ye faithful
  • O little town of Bethlehem
  • Once in Royal David’s City
  • See! in yonder manger lo
  • Still the night
  • The race that long in darkness pined
  • While humble shepherds watched their flocks

The cost is a donation of £6 (+ postage) to St Andrew’s and St George’s West Church, ideally payable by cheque.

To order a copy contact Brigitte via the St Andrew’s and St George’s West Church website – available here
